Immediate live plant extraction
Our #1 priority is to preserve the plant's maximum aromatic potential. We extract the live flavors & aromas within 30 minutes of being harvested.
These plant compound extracts are sensitive to heat, light, and oxygen. So we immediately perform a custom solventless extraction right there on the farm to drastically increase volatile capture and better preserve the delicate flavor and aroma compounds.
Molecular distillation for flavor & aroma
Immediately after extracting from the plant biomass - we pour, filter, and freeze the resulting essential oil to lock-in the freshness.
From there, the oil is refined through molecular distillation to remove the undesirable plant compounds such as chlorophyll, lipids, and waxes. You know that typical “hay” smell from the plant? That’s what we’re removing.
