Pink Runtz Terpene Strain Profile | Get to Know Your Favorite Strain

Discover the terpenes that make Pink Runtz so euphoric, delicious, and so wildly popular.

The Runtz family is award-winning, wildly popular, and known for its potent euphoric effects—and Pink Runtz doesn’t disappoint. While the lineage of the original Runtz is generally agreed upon, there’s still some mystery about how Pink Runtz came to be.

Some say Cookies Fam bred it as a phenotype of Runtz while others say it was bred in-house by CopyCat Genetics by crossing a Pink Panties clone with a reversal of Runtz. There are even rumors that it’s a cross between Pink Panties and Rainbow Sherbert. Regardless, its fan base is happy, dedicated, and completely blissed out.

Before we jump in too deep, we want to remind everyone that we offer both botanical and cannabis-derived terpenes. We work hard to isolate the specific terpene profiles of popular chemovars so both cannabis consumers and non-cannabis consumers can enjoy and benefit from them.

Read on and discover the terpenes that make Pink Runtz so relaxing, delicious, and popular.

Pink RNTZ Terpene Strain Profile

With its candy-like flavor, Pink Runtz is easily the sweetest of the Runtz family and our terp experts have perfectly captured it in our Pink RNTZ Sauce. Dominant terpenes D-Limonene, Myrcene, and Alpha-Pinene give this blend a fruity, subtly herbaceous aroma with just a hint of sour candy tartness.

D-Limonene plays an important role in the mood-elevating effects of Pink RNTZ. It should come as no surprise that D-Limonene is sweet, sour, and found in fruits like lemons, limes, and oranges. It’s one of the most common terpenes in nature and it lends Pink RNTZ cerebral effects like mood elevation and mental stimulation.

Myrcene (ß-Myrcene more specifically) gives Pink RNTZ a dose of sweet complexity that perfectly weaves all the various aromatic notes together. It has an aroma that’s earthy and woody with notes of cloves, cardamom, fruit, and musk. It also promotes effects like sedation, which is partially responsible for the relaxing effects of this blend.

You’ll also find Alpha-Pinene in this blend, which helps lift the aroma and your senses. Found plentifully in rosemary and pine trees, its aroma is herbal, woody, and “piney.” It’s also a big part of why Pink RNTZ has such potent cerebral effects (and likely why many users enjoy this strain throughout the day).

While there are over thirty other isolates that make up this complex blend, these three are some of the main contributors to its unique flavor, aroma, and effects. Speaking of effects…

Pink Runtz Effects

In case you’re unaware, something really beautiful happens when you combine terpenes and cannabis. High levels of THC will definitely have a strong psychoactive effect, but without terpenes, you won’t experience the variety of flavors or the subtle nuances of effects that different strains have.

That’s why some strains make you want to clean your entire house, while others make you want to drool on the couch for hours. Bottom line? If you love the way Pink Runtz makes you feel, you can thank the exquisite combination of terpenes and cannabinoids.

Pink Runtz is incredibly versatile because it can be both stimulating and incredibly relaxing. The energizing effects kick in fast and are often described as a cerebral rush that quickly obliterates stress and elevates mood. The more relaxing effects may take a bit longer to settle in, but once the euphoric giggling transforms into a subtle spine-tingling sensation, prepare for whole-body relaxation.

Overall, this strain is great as a social lubricant, end-of-day wind-down, or even as a dose of creative inspiration.

How Can YOU Use Pink RNTZ Sauce?

Considering the euphoric and sedative effects of this chemovar, Pink RNTZ Sauce would be a practical addition to several types of products.

Infusing a cannabis or CBD distillate with Pink RNTZ Sauce would be an efficient way to create a variety of products with both its sweet aroma and effects. Additionally, beverages designed to promote relaxation (tea, seltzer, etc.) would benefit from its sedative properties.

This blend would also be a phenomenal addition to many types of edibles. Perhaps one of the most interesting applications, however, would be personal care products like lotions, bath oils, or even aromatherapy. The aroma is pleasing all on its own, but the use of these terpenes would also add relaxing and mood-elevating properties to these products.

Either way, our botanically sourced Pink RNTZ Sauce is perfect for both cannabis and non-cannabis products. Obviously, combining this blend with cannabinoids will pump up the effects. However, non-cannabis products seeking to promote a euphoric mood that’s still relaxing will greatly benefit from this blend.
