The original plant was grown by Sensi Seeds and named after the infamous godfather of modern strains, Jack Herer. The legendary genetics were then brought to the United States by the man himself.
The Jack Herer we analyzed for the Signature Series is based on the authentic original genetics first cultivated in the Netherlands.

We want to work directly with the original cultivators/breeders to create the signature version of their flower’s iconic flavor profile. They know their flower better than anyone and they can provide us with authentic cuts of their plants, grown and harvested under ideal conditions.
Our world-leading analytical technology allows for us to map their cultivar’s unique metabolite fingerprint. We are able to point to a list of over 500 compounds and determine that these compounds, in these ratios, are what truly defines the aromatics of this plant. Only Abstrax can deliver this authenticity.

If you buy Jack Herer in one shop and then again in another shop, you’re probably going to wind up with two very different products, even though they’re sold under the same name
Brands are renaming their strains to align with marketability. Meaning that if they call their generic plant strain “Jack Herer”, it’s more likely to sell due to name recognition. There is nobody out there testing these products to see if this Jack is actually Jack, for example. You can call your product anything and get away with it, unfortunately.
