The numbers are in! Discover our top 10 terpene profiles analyzed from Sauce.
Sauce is made using solvent-based extraction, which can take anywhere from several days to several weeks. That may seem a bit extreme, but the quality of the final product is well worth the wait. One glance at that terpene-rich liquid and the crystalline cannabinoid “diamonds” floating on its surface, and you’ll start to understand our obsession.
Making high-terpene extracts like these isn’t for beginners, but their robust aromatics make them ideal for some of the research that goes into our Native Series profiles. We model each profile off of the “best” version of each cultivar. Sometimes, that means flower, rosin, or — you guessed it — Sauce.
While our list of profiles analyzed from Sauce is always growing, some profiles clearly have a dedicated following. Some are profiles of legendary cultivars, and others are based on newer cultivars consumers already love

FLOWER VS ROSIN VS SAUCE While most cannabis lovers have their preferred concentrate, we know they all have something valuable to offer. That’s not some sentimental statement, either. To understand the difference between them, we measured the aromatic profiles of Tropaya flower, live resin, and solventless rosin. While the top terpenes were relatively similar across products, slight differences created unique aromas, flavors, and even sensorial effects. Why is this important? These differences didn’t denote quality. They just created more options for consumers to find their preferred products. Want to learn more? Take a look at the data in our study!
